5 FERRIS BUELLER QUOTES

Ferris Bueller's Day Off

HOW COULD YOU NOT LOVE FERRIS?

I am a HUGE fan of Ferris Bueller's Day Off - I think I've watched the movie ten times at least and I still smile all the way through it - and don't get me started on how much fun the Twist and Shout on the float in the street parade is - it's so feel good it's ridiculous!

LET'S GET STARTED

1. That all time classic Bueller quote - and a reminder to us all to seize the day!

2. I can hear Ferris's teacher saying this in my head - with the apathy of long time teachers everywhere....

3.  That float quote - which leads into Danke Schoen and then Twist and Shout.

(and yes, I had to include the film clip!)

4. Cameron's epiphany after the disaster with his dad's car - he figured it out much sooner than I did!

5. And finally, Ferris telling everyone to go home at the end of the movie - what's not to love?

  3. Ferris Bueller's Day Off is a Tolley Family classic! You've hit some of the best quotes, but our personal favourites? "You shouldn't be throwing anyone with that bad knee, Ed." and "Makes you look like an ass is what he does, Ed!"
    Love this movie!

    1. Another thing in common Diane! I wince when I think of poor Ed and his self inflicted war wounds in his pursuit of Ferris - and Ferris's dad just missing seeing him all those times was a hoot!

    1. I am hopeless as far as remembering movie plots etc Carol (my husband seems to have them all filed away for instant recall) but this one just makes me smile - and anything feel good is worth holding onto these days.

  6. LOL. When my son was in school, his teachers and the administration called him Ferris Bueller!

    1. That's just classic Tam - was it because of his wicked personality or because he wagged school successfully?

    1. I'm hoping that's a typo and you meant to type "noW it's a family favourite" because no family should be able to resist the joy of Ferris!
