FIVE GREAT QUOTES ON RISING
Seeing my word for 2018 is RISE and seeing I am a huge lover of quotes, I thought I'd combine the two and put together five quotes that reflect how the word RISE applies to the year ahead for me. I hope you enjoy them and feel free to Pin any that appeal to you.

"The more you let go, the higher you rise..." That's my fave of these...
ReplyDeleteIt has a lovely feel to it doesn't it Jo?
DeleteI especially love Number 5!
ReplyDeleteme too Susan - it creates such a visual experience of leaving behind what we don't want to take forward into our life.
DeleteI love how you combined your focus words with these great quotes, Leanne. #4 is my favourite!
ReplyDeleteSo many of them rang true for me Donna.
DeleteGreat quotes on your focus word 'Rise', Leanne. My favourite is number 2. A woman's determination cannot be beaten. Looking forward to having you as my guest this Thursday. Xx
ReplyDeleteI'm looking forward to it too Sue - I'll be rising and you'll be thriving as we tackle 2018 :)
DeleteI love these quotes, especially the Rumi one, which I pinned.
ReplyDeleteRumi is one of my favourites too Jennifer - there are a lot of profound quotes from that particular person in my Pinterest collection :)
DeleteOh how I love number FOUR!!
ReplyDeleteIt's very Zen isn't it Carla - simple and obvious when you think about it :)
DeleteI love the quotes and the way you have superimposed them all on the same photo. Well done!
ReplyDeleteThanks Shirley - you've got to love Canva when it comes to putting quotes together with an image don't you!
DeleteLove love love these inspirational quotes. Time to let go of emotional baggage, mental baggage, and perhaps physical baggage that weigh us down so that we can rise higher in 2018!
ReplyDeleteThat's my intention for 2018 Darlene - I ended up too weighed down by the end of 2017 - time to rise up out of it!
DeleteGreat word, great quotes. I kid you not, #3, the Rumi quote, a grocery checker at my neighborhood store has that in cursive across her chest. Of course she always wears low cut tops so we can all read it. At first I was staring so much I just asked her what it said and who said it, the cursive is not easy to read on her chest. Now when I get her I ask her for more Rumi quotes which of course she can give and has some more on her arms and on her neck and back!
ReplyDeleteI bet there's millions of Rumi quotes floating around the world on people's skin Haralee - it's nice that they inspire people to better themselves (although having strangers stare at your chest all the time would be a little bit weird!)
DeleteThe first one kicked me in the gut. I love that. Pinned and sharing. I think I'll print it out and put it on my office wall. Thank you Leanne!
ReplyDeleteIt really hit me between the eyes too Rena - strong and victorious - exactly what we're all about :)
DeleteThanks for this page. So amazing and necessary for women every day of their lives. I too love the Rumi quote the most.
ReplyDeleteI think we all need to believe that we can get back up again and be better than what has happened to us Beth - if we didn't then we'd just sit down and give up - and that's not an alternative for me!
DeleteVery nice quotes. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great range of quotes Leanne! I love how your word for 2018 is in them all! Thanks for sharing your wisdom with us all at Blogger's Pit Stop.
ReplyDeleteI love all of these quotes. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteWow. I love all of these quotes. (Another thing we have in common--a love for words.) Thanks for sharing! I'm sure you will rise high in 2018.
ReplyDeleteYou and Christie inspired me to seek our quotes for my own word. (Soar) Thanks!
